One animation system for Flamingosis that works as a music video on a screen and holds up as live visuals on stage.
01 / The brief
Visuals for Flamingosis that had to do two jobs at once: a music video that reads on a small screen and a live show that holds the room from a stage.
02 / The approach
Instead of making two separate things, I built one animation system designed to pull double duty. The edited cut became the music video; the same elements broke apart into loops I could mix live in Resolume. The visual language stays consistent whether you are watching it on a phone or standing in front of it.
03 / The outcome
A single body of work that lives in two places, the screen and the stage, without compromising in either one.
